History
- 1935
- has been founded Porcelain National Manufactory "CORAL" Turda, Romanian Limited Company. The main manufactured products consisted in ceramic household commodities, refractory materials and laboratory porcelain articles.
- 1945
- electrotechnical ceramic items have been included under manufacturing profile.
- 1949
- Porcelain National Manufactory "CORAL" Turda becomes ELECTROCERAMICA Turda.
- 1950 - 1958
- first development stage of the society marked by building of the new halls and purchasing of modern equipments for manufacturing of insulators.
- 1966 - 1976
- bigger and bigger request of electrotechnical ceramic products, determined an important development stage of the society, when the company has been arranged în its actual form . New production places have been built and modern equipments put into service, both for manufacturing of insulators and carrying out of complete tests on ceremic bodies and finished articles.
- 1991
- based on H.G. no. 1296 / 13.12.1990, ELECTROCERAMICA Turda becomes a joint stock company, Romanian State being the single shareholder.
- 1993
- modification of the shares structure, FPS 70% from the registerd capital, FPP V Oltenia 30%.
- 1996
- modification of the shares structure, namely : FPS 69,98% from the registered capital, FPP V Oltenia 13,52%, company manager 0,02%, natural persons, as per Law no. 55/1995, – 16,48%.
- 1997
- modification of the shares structure: FPS 69,87% from the registered capital, SIF Oltenia (former FPP V Oltenia) 13,52%, company managers 0,13%, other 16,48%.
- 1999
- privatization process has finished, Italian company BARBERI RUBINETTERIE INDUSTRIALI SRL being the major shareholder - 69,87% of stocks, SIF Oltenia - 13,32% from the registered capital, the remaining shareholders - 16,81%.
- 2005
- following finalization of the works for putting into service of the equipments and technological tests, manufacturing of the epoxy resin insulators is started.
- 2008
- as a result of the deals effected on the capital market (B.V.B) during July – November 2008, with shares issued by S.C. ELECTROCERAMICA S.A. TURDA, company stocks structure is the following:
- BARBERI RUBINETTERIE INDUSTRIALI S.R.L., Headquarters in Valduggia (VC), Via Monte Fenera 7, Italia, has got 978117 nominative shares amounting to Lei 2,445.292.50 that is 96,69% of the company capital;
- OTHER SHAREHOLDERS have got 33.503 nominative shares, amounting to Lei 73,757.50 that is 3,31% of the company capital.
